The Town of Sylvan Lake will be celebrating Canada Day with an epic fireworks display at approximately 10:45 pm!
Fireworks will be launched from the Sylvan Lake Pier at Lakeshore Drive and Centennial Street.
Note: Firework shows are subject to delay based on a number of factors. We will do our best to safely launch our show at the scheduled time. Stay tuned to @VisitSylvanLake on Facebook for updates regarding the firework display.
Canada Day Festivities
Due to weather the Rotary Club's Canada day festivities will now begin at 12pm at Sylvan Lake Pier at Lakeshore Drive and 50 Street
A super day of celebration for Canada's 157th Birthday, hosted by the Sylvan Lake Rotary Club!
Find Canada flags and pins, stop by for temporary tattoos, and enter to win at the e-bike raffle for two Raleigh e-bikes valued at $4000.
Entertainment provided by Flynn Larson, as well as face painting and a balloon artist. Join Sylvan Lake Theatre for a storytelling circle and listen in. The interact Club and Junior Rotary will be on hand serving up cotton candy!
And don’t forget our piez de resistance - the enormous Canada Day birthday cake that will be served up by local dignitaries after the March of Canadians - at approximately 2:30pm. A treat to be enjoyed by all with a photo op with the RCMP, dressed in red serge.
July 1st, 2024 promises to be a fun filled day for residents and visitors alike.!
